Reflecting on Semicon West 2024, we are thrilled by the incredible experiences and connections made over the past few days. Our team was on-site to meet with valued partners and discuss how cutting-edge technology can support future front-end and back-end semiconductor manufacturing processes. We believe that preparing for the future also means investing in people. That's why we conducted many activities in parallel to prepare the workforce of tomorrow and demonstrated our commitment to the future in a broader sense. Read on for our key takeaways.

Our HR team was present on-site and was impressed by the bright, ambitious talents who are eager to start their careers. Keynote “Fostering a Dynamic Workforce"
Echoing Semicon West's theme of "Stronger Together," our keynote by Isabella Drolz, VP Marketing & Product Strategy at our X-ray Systems Division, sparked insightful discussions on addressing the talent gap.
Advanced Packaging quality testing with cutting-edge X-ray technology
As Moore's law drives the miniaturization and complexity of microchip structures, new inspection technologies are essential. Our CA20 X-ray solution, designed for the semiconductor industry, enables non-destructive testing of Advanced Packaging structures. At our booth, the interactive Discovery Desk demonstrated the advantages of X-ray inspection, capturing the interest of many chip manufacturers. We proudly showcased Comet Yxlon’s revolutionary contribution to the semiconductor market, alongside high-resolution X-ray tubes from Comet X-ray.
Next level plasma control with Synertia®
Plasma processes are central to semiconductor manufacturing, and Comet Plasma Control Technologies’ solutions enhance production efficiency. Synertia®, Comet's RF Power Delivery System, offers real-time insights into plasma processes through seamlessly integrated components, expediting problem-solving and accelerating product launches.
