Hamburg, Germany – November 15, 2017 – YXLON International, a company of the Swiss tech holding, COMET Group, has received a 2017 Global Technology Award in the category of Inspection – X-ray for its YXLON FF35 CT multi-application, high-resolution computed tomography (CT) inspection system for fine parts. The award was presented to the company during a ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 that took place during productronica in Munich, Germany. The FF35 CT brings a new dimension to electronics X-ray, allowing users to benefit from technology revolutionary in our industry.

Manufactured in Germany, the YXLON FF35 CT brings NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) expertise to the world of micro-electronics. This system enables CT inspection of a broad range of components. Everything from wafer-level parts up to complete assembly can be captured in a single image, allowing the operator to easily zoom in on the sub-micron level in the 3D reconstruction. The 3D reconstruction is rendered in real time, creating digital visualizations very quickly. The system is also equipped with market-leading software, ensuring that even sub-micron features can be viewed and measured easily.
